New and improved technology is constantly being introduced to
this product and often it is years before definitive information
can be given, however we can report:
Simultaneous
determination of Ignitability, Flame Propagation, Heat release
and smoke
release tests carried out by AWTA 23/11/92 to conform
to AS 1530-3-1989
Amendment No.1 April 92 results.
Ignitability Index 0 Range 0 - 20
Spread of Flame Index 0 Range 0 - 10
Heat Evolved Index 0 Range 0 - 10
Smoke Developed Index 0 Range 0 - 10
Sound transmission is low - Reflection 98%.
James Cook Cyclone Structural Testing Station
stated "Both of the sandwich construction
boards with 0.6mm steel sheet core satisfied
the test criteria by resisting the 4 Kg missile
travelling at 15 metres/sec.
Adhesive functional to 120 degrees Centigrade.
Bond tests have all been satisfactory.
Sheer and Deformation tests carried out, all
satisfactory
